At Octopus Coffee "Decaf" is not a bad word! We enjoy our decaf everyday as an espresso creation or drip brew. So when we roast it, we do so with love and close attention to detail. The decaffeinating process takes a toll on coffee beans, enough that great care must be taken in order to roast the coffee to its full potential and we take pride in doing just that.
Our Swiss Water decaf is roasted medium-light though it appears much darker as a result of the Swiss Water treatment. In the cup the coffee exhibits notes of caramel, chocolate, and warm cedar.
